COMPETENCE ASSURANCE

WAZP Group develops and assures client employee competence through a process of Competence Gap Analysis and targeted training followed by formal work placed assessment of employee knowledge, skills and behaviour.

WAZP Group consultants have previously led the development of Competence Systems, Assurance Documentation and Assessor/Verifier training for SHELL/PDO, BHP, Dubai Petroleum, to name but a few. WAZP Group is highly experienced in the application of International Competence Certification.

Our consultants have secured centre and qualification approval for clients from numerous UK awarding organisations such as; City and Guilds, EDEXCEL, SQA, etc..

Our tried and tested competence assurance methodology complies with UK awarding organisation requirements allowing for IVQ’s, NVQ and SVQ’s to be assessed against OPITO/COGENT standards and easily integrated into client systems.

VOCATIONAL TRAINING

WAZP Group provides a diverse range of vocational training courses and programmes, including theoretical and practical subjects at a number of levels. These include accredited short courses, Vocational Qualifications (VQs), as well as modern apprenticeship programmes.

We are also fully adept at customising programmes in terms of training equipment or assessment materials to meet specific client requirements. Customised courses and programmes can be designed to meet the assessment criteria of awarding organisations.

WAZP Group’s International Oil & Gas Training centres are in-country registered and able to offer approved training for industry technician apprentices.

Our 18 month Oil and Gas Technician Operations Development Programme comprises practical training and further education.

Trainees who successfully complete it will achieve a portfolio of internationally accredited qualifications. WAZP capitalises on the wealth of expertise and experience possessed by our consultants and lecturers.

Our lecturers possess extensive industrial experience in their respective fields as well as appropriate academic and assessor qualifications.
